Interior and product photography for Cheshire Fabric Designer Zoe Glencross.

Over the last 6 months I’ve been working with Cheshire fabric designer, Zoe Glencross, photographing her new collections. Her Nordic Story Collection is new for Spring 18. Taking inspiration from her travels to Sweden and Denmark, the Nordic Story Collection for 2018 is a bold, contemporary and graphic collection of prints.  An exhibition by Danish artist Bit Vejle in Malmo, of delicate and intricate paper cut designs, inspired Zoe to go back to basics on the design process.  Using the simplest techniques to compose prints using paper-cut silhouettes, translating them into hand block and screen prints.  The Nordic Trail design makes stunning roman blinds and curtaining but also striking statement pieces as upholstered furniture.  It sits perfectly alongside it’s partnering Paper Leaf print and balances with the delicate Honeycomb and North Star designs. We shot the product at a couple of locations, one being Zoe’s home, that lends itself beautifully with an abundance of natural light. We were also fortunate to use the stunning home of Cheshire Interiors Designer, Caroline Firth. Caroline, based in Bramhall, Stockport has been designing interiors for over 15 years and delivers a cohesive and personal look that feels eclectic, fresh and fun. Big thanks must also go to Heather Linnitt of eclectic-chair, who worked her magic on the cars used in the shoot. Heather, of Eclectic Chair is a Manchester based designer and upholsterer.  For many years Heather has provided an upholstery service for the great and good of Manchester & Leeds, but has now decided to concentrate on creating her own designs which will be for sale from her website. Heather is a gifted upholsterer with 13 years experience. She studied at The Traditional Upholstery Workshop, where she gained an intimate education of her craft. She combines traditional skills and a keen eye for contemporary design and vintage influences.
