內襯油管是在鋼管內部過盈復合高分子材料層，這種材料具有很優良的彈性、柔韌性、耐磨、耐溫等物理特性，并具有耐酸、鹽等性能。目前內襯抗磨抗腐油管己成為油田治理油井偏磨最有效的方法之一。

內襯層可以明顯減輕抽油桿與油管內壁相互磨損，不僅提高了油管壽命，同時也增加了抽油桿的使用周期，大大降低了油井故障，延長檢泵周期，降低了生產成本。
